Tucked away upstairs beneath the sloped ceilings of our historic Victorian home, The Vagabond is a cozy, artful escape with a distinctly bohemian soul. This one-of-a-kind suite features low-profile furnishings, eclectic décor, and a warm, inviting atmosphere perfect for dreamers and wanderers alike.

A small yet charming attached bathroom offers a walk-in shower, and the suite’s intimate layout creates a sense of retreat from the world. Though perched above it all, guests still enjoy the comforts of our shared breakfast patio, where self-serve coffee and light breakfast items are available daily. On weekends, a hot homemade breakfast can be ordered, freshly prepared by the innkeepers (for an additional fee—menu provided on our website).

Located just half a mile from the historic downtown city center, The Vagabond is a haven for free spirits seeking inspiration, comfort, and a touch of old-world charm. On-site parking is included.

Guest access

You will access your room by walking through the front door of the main home, and going upstairs to find your room. You will have a key to your private room and one to the dining patio. You will walk outside and then into the side entrance of the house. Use your key to enter.

During your stay

We do not live on-site, but our innkeepers, Heather and Christian do. If you need anything at all, you can look for them or give us a call and we can be to you within a matter of minutes. We are committed to making sure you have a wonderful stay and will never be "bothered" by your reaching out. Please reach out to us if you need anything at all! We are here to help!

Other things to note

Please note that Hot Breakfast is available on weekends and most week days. Please request breakfast by 9pm the night before. There is a small cost per plate which can be found on our menu (see photo). If you request breakfast, please be in the dining patio at 9am. ***The Starseed room is a great option to add to your stay to accommodate an extra guest or space***

This home was the location for a 3-day getaway during my Spring Break. I especially loved the walk to downtown Eureka Springs through the backwoods. It's a very private "feel" for such a large home. The house and guests had a fantastic vibe. The shared dining area was spacious and had plenty of snacks and other treats. The parking was perfect, and it was nice that each room had an assigned spot. It is an excellent and quiet neighborhood, and I can only imagine how much more beautiful this place will be once the trees are fully green. Heather, the co-host, was very welcoming. I look forward to coming back.

Beautiful historic home. The dining patio was so cute and surprisingly cozy! We got to see a little family of deer right outside. Great communication, excellent recommendations, super friendly hosts!

I had an absolutely beautiful time at the house. I felt very comfortable sleeping there. It was very peaceful and quiet. I didn’t feel like I was staying with anybody else. I’m actually not even sure if there was anyone else. Booking with easy, checking in with easy, and most Importantly, very affordable for a wonderful weekend.
